Installing Mediashare Client Software on a Windows Mobile Device Over a Wireless Connection
The following procedure describes how to install and configure the required MediaShare client software on specified Windows Mobile handsets over a wireless connection. As part of this procedure, you will receive an SMS message containing a link to the Mediashare Downloads webpage on your handset. Clicking the links in the download page and following prompts in each message will automatically install the MediaShare software onto your handset. When you are done, restart the handset to use MediaShare.
Step 1:
You will receive an SMS message on your handset containing a hyperlink to download and provision MediaShare on your handset.

Step 2:
Open the SMS message. In the message there is a hyperlink to the Mediashare Downloads web page. On the Downloads page there are links to MediaShare Cab installation files.
Click the MediaShare application CAB file link on the Downloads Page.

Step 3:
A download confirmation prompt appears. Click Save.

A prompt appears for you to acknowledge that you want to save the CAB file onto your handset. Click Save.

Step 5:
A confirmation prompt appears. Click Yes to confirm that you want to install the MediaShare software.

An installation status progress message is displayed.

A prompt to restart the device appears. Do Not restart the device at this time. Click No.

An installation status message appears to indicate the success of the installation of the application file. Click Done.

A window displays the name of the file that was installed onto your handset.

Go back to Downloads Page. Click the second hyperlink beneath the text user settings. The link is the device phone number.

A status message appears to indicate that the software was successfully installed. Click Done.

A status message appears that shows the two files that were installed. Restart your handset at this time. When the handset automatically restarts you are ready to use MediaShare!
